Archive Storage
With the onus on businesses increasing every year to control and retain more and more documents and the length of time that they need to be retained, many businesses are confronted with a variety of problems associated with the ongoing storage of their documents and data.
Space is the main problem businesses face. Archives simply take up too much valuable room that could be allocated to more productive resources. Often businesses don’t have the room available within the office and resort to storing their valuable documents in less than ideal locations and expose them to detrimental environmental conditions and security risks.
Another problem businesses incur is in physically locating documentation when required. Often boxes are stored with no system in mind and no cataloguing of their contents. Locating the right document or file can become a frustrating and time consuming exercise and a waste of staff resources.
At Compu-Stor the above problems are no longer a concern. We have the room to store your records. We have the systems to ensure all records are easily identifiable and locatable. Furthermore our facilities are free from environmental risks and perimeter security is provided via reinforced 2.5 metre fencing and any access to Compu-Stor site is via a security gate.
Archive Box Storage
Archive storage boxes are accommodated in longspan, high-rise metal shelving within totally secure warehouses which meet the highest industry standards in terms of cleanliness, security, fire protection and pest control.
Each box is allocated a unique identifying barcode ensuring that it is easily locatable and readily identifiable.
Archive Box Storage – to individual file level
This is in effect the same form of storage as with archive boxes. In this level of storage however each individual file within the archive box is readily identifiable via a unique file barcode.
Open Shelf File Storage
Open Shelf File storage is accommodated in bays of solid metal shelving also within totally secure warehouses. Storing files loose, eliminates the need to purchase archive boxes and also improves the refile process, which in turn leads to a more efficient service. Each file is allocated an individual file barcode.
Return of Boxes or Files
The storage of your documents is only a part of the services we provide. Every week we return many thousands of boxes and files to our clients. The systems and procedures we have in place ensure that an item never goes missing and requests are met within 24 hours of being made.
