Compu-Stor's Little Yellow Soapbox Superstar!

Monday, 07 Nov 2011

Perth Soapbox Club is a non-profit organization that recently held the Ross Burton Championships at Barbagallo Raceway. This annual event promotes road safety, driver skill and sportsmanship among children aged 6 to 16.

Compu-Stor is very proud to have sponsored Race 2 of the Junior Division for 6-12 year olds.

Soapbox clubs from Perth, Albany and Esperance competed in Formula One lookalike, non motorized billy carts, also known as ‘hill trolleys’ or ‘soapbox carts’, in races at speeds between 60-80kph. All children have plenty of support from their peers, parents and family members which is what the Perth Soapbox Club alongside Compu-Stor endeavours’ to promote. It was a long tiring day filled with smiles, a few minor technical hiccups.

We would like to congratulate Compu-Stor’s team member’s son, Jackson (aged 11), who came third overall in the juniors category. Great job Jackson! We look forward to seeing you achieve fantastic results again next year!
