From 1.45pm on Tuesday afternoon, 31st January 2012, Perth’s leading electrical company suffered impromptu faults throughout the afternoon. This caused the power to be ‘off’ in many Perth metro suburbs – including Belmont, the location of Compu-Stor’s head office.
The phone system was unable to operate during the power outage, and Compu-Stor sends its sincerest apologies to all customers wishing to contact us during this time.
However, the integral online operating system, CIMS, was completely operational during this dark period as Compu-Stor’s backup facility is offsite.
With the backup facility securely stationed at an offsite location, the web-based management system CIMS was functioning seamlessly for our customers. The continual running of CIMS provided our customers with the tools to continue to function & take advantage of Compu-Stor’s service & facilities, even during severe power-faults.
While the electrical company’s faults page states that Belmont has ‘no known interruptions’, we are sure that there will be a media post in the near future regarding this outage. Stay tuned for a link and updates on the situation.
Once again Compu-Stor apologises to all customers who were unable to call the office during the blackout, and we hope that you appreciated the online CIMS facility & the Compu-Stor website to answer any queries.
Please email orders@compu-stor.com.au for any urgent queries.
